Gordon van Welie serves on the board of directors of the Lighthouse Energy Institute. He was the CEO of ISO New England for nearly 25 years, overseeing its development into a trusted institution serving 15 million residents. Gordon’s corporate career included vice president and general manager at Siemens and chief engineer at Eskom, South Africa’s national utility. He is currently engaged in a number of advisory roles for technology and utility companies in the field of power systems infrastructure and automation and is an active member of the National Academy of Engineering.
