Corie Whalen is director of communications and editorial at the Lighthouse Energy Institute. She was previously the director of communications at the R Street Institute, where she amplified the organization’s positions and ensured scholars’ work was part of media discourse. Prior to that, she was the director of media relations at the Cato Institute. Before that, she served as the communications director for former Congressman Justin Amash.
Corie received an M.A. in political science and history from Simmons University.
